There are so many things to do in Cornwall, from the fine, clean beaches to swim or surf at, to fine local galleries in Mousehole, Newlyn and Penzance.
The galleries display famous Old School artworks, along with the work of new and vibrant artists and craft workers, some of whom have local workshops and studios that you can also visit and purchase from.
Penzance is a town with a rich history, where you can easily lose yourself for a day. Local guided walks are available on most days and there is also a spooky evening "ghost walk" through the town which is very popular!
Retail therapy is vastly improved nowadays in Penzance, with an array of interesting specialist shops along with a thriving Farmer's Market every Saturday.
The Isles of Scilly are also a boat trip or 20 minute Helicopter ride from Penzance too, so why not take the opportunity to explore the remote isolated islands for a day! If you prefer something a little closer to home, there's the mediaeval castle and church on the craggy island of St Michael's Mount to explore. There's also the wild and historic mining landscape of the far Western reaches of the Cornish Peninsula...
In Winter, we welcome guests who wish to explore the famous local village Christmas lights. Almost all villages have breathtaking displays and we are happy to take you on a guided tour if you wish! This lasts around 2-3 hours, ending with mulled wine and mince pies back at the Manor Farm. Ask us for more details of this unusual and popular winter break!
